Air France, your app is absolutely USELESS! After spending 30 minutes going back and forth, trying to fix what should be basic functionality, I just gave up. My profile information is outdated—it still shows me as a Silver member when I’ve been a Gold member for some time now! How hard is it to update this? To make matters worse, I’m about to board a 10-hour business class flight, and your app can’t even confirm that I’m on the flight! Seriously? This is BUSINESS CLASS, and your system still manages to fail. I suppose that means no magazines for me either, since the app can’t recognize me or my booking. Air France, FIX YOUR SYSTEMS! This is completely unacceptable.

Often doesnt work

The new app doesnt seem to work better than the previous one It doesnt identify my flights A pity because when it works its great The help desk doesnt seem to answer either

No apparent choice of language

One presumes Air France considers itself a global brand. A overwhelmingly French-language offer tarnishes that reputation. Maybe I missed it, but I found nothing else except children’s fare in Spanish, English and German.

Contents are so limited

Contents are either European and English. I hope they have wider variety in the languages

Broken

This update as « Air France press » is a disaster. It keeps forgetting I have credits and breaks down after each download. Each time I have to log out, log back in, confirm codes, attempt to download a paper which may or may not work, and then I am locked out again.

Newspapers

Why on Earth does one need a complicated security wall (double security with Flying Blue number and SMS code THEN ALSO booking reference from ticket). I had to ask staff to find out that Flying Blue login (with SMS code) is not enough to download a newspaper. It is download newspapers, but conduct banking.

Buggy, clunky “French Tech”

Air France should simply yank this app, retire it for good and move on. And brink back in-flight newspapers and magazine. The app rarely works, it keeps crashing for no obvious reason …. For all the talk about “La French Tech” here’s a disaster France can’t seem to get a handle on….

Clunky and confusing

It won’t allow me to load more than one of my three flights. And I don’t even know if it accepted the one it said it did. This feels way more like economy than La Premiere!

Can’t even start

I just downloaded the app and tried to login my Flyingblue account, and the app just closes itself. No matter how I reopen the app, it just closes itself. What a joke!

Don’t download

I received an email from Air France telling me that getting this app would enhance my long-haul travel. So I downloaded it the night before I was to leave for France. Tapped on the app to open it and my iPhone crashed—black screen of death. The next three hours were completely awful as I tried to restart it over and over with no luck. My phone eventually recovered but I lost a lot of information and I had to retrieve it before my flight left the next day. I immediately deleted the app. Go ahead and get this app if you’re desperate for unnecessary stress and want to risk the chance of traveling without your phone in a foreign country.

The number of newspapers has increased 👍. And was working ok until today 👎as I cannot dowload anything but the 4 songs I don’t care of. Message is you’ll be granted access 30 hrs before your flight...while I am now in the lounge...!👎👎👎

Don’t bother

This app is a joke.... you can only download 2 magazines and 2 newspaper. Doesn’t give you the full selection to choose from. If you delete one, you can’t download another one. Audio files is 4 songs. No videos available.

Not Working Right

It loads but I get constant “not connected to the internet” or “application not available” errors. I can’t do anything with it. Yes, I am connected to the internet. It’s your app that’s broken.

When it's bad, it's horrid

When the app works, it's a great service, but it often doesn't recognize my bookings so I have no available credits, or if it does recognize them, the downloads don't complete half the time. And since the last update four days ago, I can't even log in, I just get error message DAL-227.

Very buggy. Please fix!

This app is extremely buggy. Downloads fail most of the time with the error message “Sorry... something went wrong. Please try again. (MIL- - 1001)”. When downloads do succeed, the magazine is sometimes nowhere to be found under the kiosk, like if the download actually never happened. Very disappointing as it is a great idea to provide digital magazines for the flight but it just isn’t working in this current version of the app.

Crazy this is still on the store

Impossible to connect to this app - no point downloading it. It should be pulled

Comment une société comme Air France peut-elle offrir une appli aussi défectueuse depuis tant d'années ! Je voyage fréquemment sur leurs lignes et j'apprécie leurs services à bord ou les lounges, mais franchement, leur application est d'une nullité incroyable. Au moment de son lancement, il y a quelques années, passe encore, mais aujourd'hui c'est carrément honteux. Je ne sais pas qui chez Air France est responsable technique de cette appli, mais il est clairement incompétent !

Absolutely zero content

There no movies to download. Just 7 documentary. That is it. Worthless.

Even when it works it’s useless

Why do I want to see snippets of French newspapers etc. I can just get CNN or a real news app. This app like airfrance adds no value to my WiFi less flight

The app for iPhone and iPad is not useful with a limited level of content and no selection in movies (there no) and music. Just disappointing !

Do the right thing

It might take few more days of interviews and maybe 20K euro a year to get the right guy (programmer) to develop this app....I can’t believe a company this size releases an app like this...nothing else to say!

Need to stay in app to download

If you leave the app while downloading it will start again 😤😤 Hope you guys can fix that !!

Always and still has problems!

Over the years, taking a few Air France flights, there are always some problems. This time, I can't re-download newspapers or magazines that I have already downloaded on my iPad. There is a cloud space, but it's empty. Don't put so many safeguards, just let people use it!

Useless

6 flights taken last 2 months, I’m just be able to download 2 magazines. Most of the time can’t connect or app crash.

L'app est extrêmement bien faite, j'ai lu les commentaires avant de la télécharge et je crois avoir compris pourquoi les gens se plaignent de ne pas pouvoir l'utiliser: dans la parties ou nous sommes supposé entre les informations on peut croire que rien ne fonctionne, enfaite si, il suffit de sélectionner la ligne, mais cela est bizarrement pas évident, je pense que C'est la seul chose à modifiée! Excellent travail aux développeurs !

Want to read during jet lag? Forget it!

The app apparently only displays magazines for the time of your flight, when you can do other things, like watch movies. Once you're wide awake in a dark room in the middle of the night, you're cut off. Apparently "read any time" does not include "nuits blanches "! So, read fast!

Greedy

An airline that won't provide entertainment on a 5 hour flight? No leg room, no power and no entertainment. I get told as I board that if I want to watch a movie on the plane I have to download the movie onto my iPhone and watch it there. Of course, not being from France i would be roaming to download multiple GB to watch a movie. Even if I was French, who would do this? Ridiculous. No other reputable airline does this. Even if I could download a movie in time before I take off; my phone would last only an hour or so before dying and of course no in seat power. This is an example of someone not thinking it through. Either provide entertainment or if you want people to bring their own devices you have to provide power. Especially on a 5 hour flight. Greedy airline cost cutting. I would send you photos of my knees crushed against the seat in front of me if I could. Basically I just need to remember and make sure I tell everyone I know. Don't fly Air France.

Useless: does not allow signing in

I made a Delta reservation on an AF operated flight, checked in online and tried signing in on the AFPress app 24 hours before flight time with the AF reservation number and my name, no success; tried signing in with the Delta reservation number and my name, no success. This is the second trip when I tried the app, and it absolutely does not allow me to sign in. What's the point of having it?

Wouldn't allow me to log in - with reservation info or KLM user name and password

Creating an act

I am attempting to "create" an account yet it will not allow me to. It only asks for email and password but then replies back they cannot locate me... Well, it's because I have not established an acct. I will try n figure this out!
